Artists of Wadsworth

It's no secret that I am a huge fan of the artistic community in Northeast Ohio and Manic on Main has been an outstanding addition to downtown City of Wadsworth - City Hall in supporting this interest. Not only do they feature unique and beautiful gifts from local artists but also offer a tremendous number of courses and events, introducing the community to a variety of artistic pursuits.

Whether woodworking, painting, stained glass or pencil and ink, Kristin LeFever Beck welcomes the work of many artists into her shop. The venue hosts its own gallery space and also a workshop for painting and crafts of all sorts. Bringing exposure to those just starting their artistic career or well advanced in it.

The workshop is a particular necessity, as anyone who has dabbled in artistic ventures knows that sometimes we make messes now and again...

On January 25th, Manic on Main hosted one of it's largest events yet, featuring the outstanding work of 11 local artists, called "Artists of Wadsworth." Through this they have been tirelessly supporting the artistic endeavors of a variety of individuals and surfacing their unique talents ranging the entire creative spectrum.

The work featured at the show included artists such as Dave Petty, Christy Hague, Emily Anne Fine Art (Emily Anne), Adrienne Koosed-Breedlove, Bob Hansen, Eric Tilson, Gabriele Bryant, Jesse Matty, Teresa Katsaros, Matthew Pluck LeFever and Maria Uhase. So many talented names, each with their own craft in and around Wadsworth. Also, if you check back regularly, many of these artists host demonstration classes at Manic on Main, so be sure to check their upcoming events, to not miss these.
